Charity team

I’m delighted to lead the fantastic team here at The Children’s Hospital Charity. Thanks to the hard work of the team, and through the generosity, passion and enthusiasm of our supporters, we are able to help Sheffield Children’s to deliver the very best care for patients, as well as being able to help enhance the patient environment to make it as welcoming and homely for children and their families. The part of the role that I find incredibly rewarding is being able to share with donors the stories about patients that have been helped thanks to the funds that they have raised. It is thanks to their support we are able to help so many patients each year in so many different ways, and I look forward to meeting as many of our supporters as possible to say a personal thank you!

I enjoy seeing first-hand what people are willing to do to make a difference to the lives of young people, even when they are going through a difficult time. There are so many amazing people that focus their energy into helping others and I enjoy the fact that I can support them.

Not only have I had my fair share of run ins at the hospital but I have seen the staff work wonders for friends and family alike so I am very excited to be part of Team Theo! It is a fundraiser's dream to work in such a highly regarded charity, especially for a hospital that transforms lives in my home town and beyond. Always love meeting supporters at Events so come and say hi!

It’s fantastic to be part of Team Theo and really help make a difference. The best part of the job is definitely meeting such great people including the patients, families, supporters and volunteers.

Having the opportunity to work at the charity has been nothing short of amazing for me. Seeing firsthand the incredible work that the hospital does for its patients and families makes me want to work even harder in providing the best level of support I can to those who are helping make the difference. The best part of my job is definitely meeting such an array of wonderful people within the community, hospital, and the charity itself.

I am inspired every day hearing the stories from our supporters and fundraisers who have such passion and determination for raising money for the charity.

The Children’s Hospital Charity is an amazing community to be a part of. Being able to see first hand the outcome of your teams’ hard work and the impact it has on patients and their families is something you don’t get very often from the workplace. In my role, I get the absolute honour of supporting the incredible Charity team to ensure they have everything they need to do their best in delivering all aspects of fundraising and spreading awareness of this fantastic cause.

What I love about working for the charity is the amazing people!! Our supporters, volunteers & staff are all fantastic individuals who are passionate about what we do and why we do it.

I’m really delighted to be part of Team Theo, I’ve experienced first-hand the amazing care that Sheffield Children’s Hospital gives both as a child myself and now with my children.

The team are passionate about their work, it’s a fantastic place to be with so many exciting plans for the future.

Being a Mum I have seen first-hand the amazing work that the hospital does for our children. Working at the charity means I can now give something back to them. Every day I am overwhelmed by the donations we receive from our wonderful supporters. 

When you have a family, you quickly realise what a special place Sheffield Children's Hospital is. Being part of Team Theo and seeing all the incredible things our supporters do and the difference their generous donations make is a huge privilege.

Seeing the incredible work that is carried out at Sheffield Children's Hospital is so inspiring. It is great to be able to support their innovative ideas and improve the services they provide with funding from the charity, to ensure the hospital leads the way in child healthcare for future generations.

Every day at the charity is a wonderful experience, it's a privilege being part of a great team of people trying to make Sheffield Children's Hospital a better place for the patients and staff. I work creatively with Artists, Designers and Digital Technology Companies to help improve the environment.

It's a privilege to be a part of the Artfelt team. Thanks to the generous support that the Charity receives, we're able to commission talented artists and designers to improve the environment at Sheffield Children's Hospital for the benefit of children and their families.

I have the absolute best job! Improving the lives of patients, families and staff through art is such a privilege. I plan and coordinate art activities informed by the patients and families I meet and their unique inspirational stories.

Everyone has a part to play in making Sheffield Children's wonderful for our patients and their families, the Charity is at the heart of it!

I feel like I’ve been given a once in a lifetime opportunity, being able to help support everyone in the children’s hospital charity and being able to see how much of a difference fundraising can make to everyone’s lives. I’ve always wanted to find a way to give back and here I am, being able to give back in the best way. Team Theo is an incredible team and I feel proud to be part of it.

Sheffield Children’s has a very special place in my heart. They have cared for, and supported, my family through some incredibly difficult times. Being part of this fantastic charity is a way for me to give something back to other children and young people facing their own challenges. It’s such a privilege to be part of Team Theo – there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

As a team we hear so many truly inspiring stories. One fun one was the X-Ray department screening toys which were donated. What they discovered was the children were much happier having their own X-rays once they’d seen their toys were okay.

I love working for The Children's Hospital Charity. I look forward to coming to work everyday & I always go home so inspired by the courage of the Children in the Hospital and the kindness of all our many supporters. Being a small part of making a difference to this incredible hospital is amazing and I love it.

Team Theo is such a special and supportive team which I am lucky to be a part of! I love how kind and friendly everyone is, and how committed we all are to doing our best for our supporters, the hospital, and its patients. The staff at Sheffield Children's go above and beyond for their patients, so it is great to be able to support that and see the difference we make.

Joining Team Theo has been an absolute dream come true. From the moment I joined this wonderful and compassionate community, I knew I was joining a team dedicated to making a genuine difference to the lives of children and their families. It's an honour to be part of this team here at the charity. The work that is done on a daily basis behind the scenes is incredible! Meeting the fundraisers, volunteers, staff and patients is inspirational. The work we do is helping to save and transform lives!

I feel so lucky to work for such an amazing charity! I am a Solicitor by trade, however having the opportunity use my skills to work directly with the community and those treated at the fantastic Sheffield Children's Hospital is invaluable. I have met so many inspirational people during my time here, and love working together on innovative projects for an incredible cause!

It has been a long-term ambition of mine to be part of the Children’s Hospital Charity. I feel so lucky that we have this amazing hospital on our doorstep and I have witnessed first-hand the incredible difference they make to families in Sheffield during extremely difficult times. I’m very proud to be part of Team Theo and helping to contribute towards their inspiring work.

I am amazed by everything I see inside the hospital, especially the amazing bravery of the little girls and boys who are being treated there. I love going out and seeing all the wonderful fundraisers raise money. All their donations make a huge difference.
