Charity update on COVID19
Following the updated government advice on Covid19, here at The Children’s Hospital Charity we are adapting how we work to best protect our staff, you our supporters as well as the community at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust which we continue to serve passionately. We are following and responding to all the guidance provided to us from the UK Government, Public Health England and the NHS.
As a result, the Charity Team will be suspending all face-to-face meetings with supporters until further notice. While we won’t be able to meet you in person, our team remains ready to help you in whatever way we can, including over the phone, by email and with video conferencing wherever possible. We will be on hand to support any fundraising, help you pay in any of your donations online, over the phone or in person and will of course help you plan for any future activities. It will take us a little longer than usual to process everything which we hope you can appreciate.

The coronavirus outbreak is unprecedented and we understand it may be a very worrying time. Fundraising may not be at the top of your priority list right now, but Sheffield Children’s Hospital remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and still needs all our support more than ever. Fundraising is also a great way to bring your community, friends and family together, even if virtually. Together we can support each other as we continue supporting our amazing hospital.

Charity events
- Sheffield Half Marathon has now been postponed until Sunday 27th September
- Theo's Egg Run has also been postponed, we will confirm a new date as soon as we can.
Making donations
The charity office at the hospital and our Marlborough Road office will both be closed during this time with charity staff working remotely. Due to this we encourage you where possible to make your donation online. Donations can be made through the donate function on the website, through JustGiving or by BACS payment. Charity office
The charity office within the hospital and our external office on Marlborough Road will be closed to the public with the charity team working remotely. The team are still all contactable if you need anything at all and will be picking up e-mails and phone calls. Please contact [email protected] or phone us on 0114 321 2470 if you have any queries.
