Be a good egg this Easter

Support Sheffield Children's Hospital this Easter

We are so grateful for all the yummy eggs you donate at Easter time but sometimes we get so much chocolate we think we might pop! Some children are unable to join in with the chocolate eating because of restricted diets, whereas others are nil by mouth because of treatment and surgery.

Instead of buying Easter eggs this year we'd love for you to consider giving a donation and together we could help fund a bigger waiting room in the Emergency Department with lots of toys for children to play with.

Ways you can help:

Don’t worry though, the children staying in the hospital over Easter won’t be missing out on chocolate treats. We already know there are lots of Easter egg donations coming from our wonderful supporters to ensure we have an Easter egg for every child who is able to eat one. This includes the hundreds of eggs we get on Easter Sunday for the Easter Egg Run, which will be going ahead as normal.

Still really want to give a chocolate egg? Of course we will still accept donations of Easter eggs, but due to the number received, we cannot guarantee it will be given to a patient. Any surplus eggs will be sold and profits used to help support services in other ways.

If you would like to donate eggs, craft kits, toys or make a donation this Easter please visit us at the charity hub in the main entrance of the hospital between Monday 6th April and Thursday 9th April, we are open 10am-4pm.

If you have any questions or would like to let us know you are coming please e-mail us at support@tchc.org.uk.

Thank you for your support!
