Nick started volunteering for The Children’s Hospital Charity back in 2012 and helps every week in our charity office.
“My motivation was to build up my experience to find work, but I really enjoy the environment and working with the team”.
Nick performs a wide variety of administrative tasks in his volunteering, from assembling fundraising packs to ensuring our charity buckets and tins are ready and waiting for supporter collections.
Among his highlights during his time at Team Theo include the Herd of Sheffield sculpture trail, the chance to see the hospital’s Play Tower up close and the charity team recognising his 5 year-anniversary as a volunteer.
His advice to anyone looking to get involved?
“Do it! It will help the charity and it will help you”
