In game challenge ideas
Adding an extra few quirky challenges to your live stream can help you to increase the number of donations you receive. Here are some ideas of different things you can do to boost your fundraiser.
Get your head in the game
- Change the game
If your viewers or fellow gamers want to change the game being playing, ask them to make a donation. You could even have a 'premium' option where they can request a specific game. - Speed level
Set a timer and see who can complete a level the fastest. The slowest person to finish has to make a donation. - Milestone challenges
Give your viewers some fundraising milestones to hit with funny challenges as their reward. For example, if we hit £50 fundraised we will all wear a silly costume; when we hit £100 we'll play the next level blindfolded; when we get to £500, one gamer will attempt to do 100 push-ups etc. - Beanboozled
Great snacks are an essential part of gaming, and there's no reason why they can't be turned into another donation challenge. Grab some Beanboozled jelly beans, show each bean to your viewers and ask them to make a donation for you to eat it. It could be birthday cake flavoured or it could taste like an old dishcloth. You won't know until it's too late. - Merchandise
Whether it's your own, charity, or some cool donated merch you've managed to source, ask your viewers or fellow streamers to donate and pop their names into a random name generator for a chance to win a prize bundle. After all, who doesn't love a charity raffle?
