National 3 Peaks Challenge 2025

Our journey begins in Fort William, where participants will trek to the summit of our first and highest peak, Ben Nevis. Next, we’ll head to the breathtaking Lake District to tackle Scafell Pike under the stars. Finally, we’ll make our way down to Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, as we navigate the stunning Snowdonia National Park!

This challenge is part of a wider collaboration with five other children's hospitals: Great Ormond Street, Alder Hey, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Birmingham Women & Children’s Hospital, and The Grand Appeal (Bristol). By registering through us, you’ll raise funds directly for The Children’s Hospital Charity.

Our adventure aims for a target walking time of 15 hours or less, giving you the opportunity to complete the traditional Three Peaks Challenge in just one day. It’s an extremely tough walking challenge, not for the faint-hearted! The cost includes transport between the peaks and overnight accommodation, ensuring you have everything you need to tackle the challenge head-on.

Over the course of approximately 22 miles, participants will climb nearly 9,500 feet, making the National Three Peaks Challenge one of the most demanding and respected trekking challenges in the UK! 

Please note that the itinerary for this challenge is complex and subject to change.

The maximum trekking time is set at 18 hours. To ensure all three mountains can be completed within the challenge's time constraints, strict cut-off times are in place:

Ben Nevis: 7 hours maximum

Scafell Pike: 5.5 hours maximum

Snowdon: 5.5 hours maximum

Anyone unable to meet these cut-off times will need to return with a guide to the waiting support team.
