Sheffield Children’s Hospital is an iconic institution, know globally for its expertise. My eldest daughter had a serious operation at Sheffield Children’s Hospital when she was five. During this time I was able to see first-hand just how important the hospital is, both for the children who are looked after there and the friends and families of those that they support. Since 1976 The Children’s Hospital Charity has worked tirelessly to help make the hospital what it is today. Their current fundraising project will help the hospital bring together world class facilities with its highly esteemed care and services. This is vital to helping children to get better quickly. Being a trustee gives me an opportunity to give something back to my community and support this extremely important cause.

Sheffield Children's Hospital does fantastic work to save children’s lives and make poorly children better from all over the country. We are immensely lucky to have one of only four children’s hospitals in the UK here in Sheffield and I am immensely proud to support it.

I became a Trustee for the Children’s Hospital Charity because I want to be part of building a better future for children and young people. The charity and Sheffield Children’s have an amazing opportunity to grow our profile and increase fundraising and I’m excited to be a part of that!

I am Deputy Chief Executive of Sheffield Children’s NHS FT. I have been with Sheffield Children’s since August 2017 and am responsible for day to day operational delivery of services and development of long term plans and strategy. It’s a brilliant place to work with some truly inspirational colleagues.
