Artfelt began its largest ever commissioning process for the New Wing bringing together 20 leading artists and creatives from around the world to reimagine the environment in which treatment is received here at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Together, we strived to provide an extraordinary, engaging and uplifting space for our young patients.

The work was central to the hospital’s £40 million transformation which saw the creation of three world-class wards and a vibrant Outpatients Department. More patients than ever before now stay in private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, while every new bed space includes a comfortable place for a parent to stay with their child.

The inspiring artwork adorned throughout was only made possible by Artfelt in our mission to redefine the boundaries of care and make the clinical more comfortable. This exhibition is a celebration of the creative talents of the artists involved and your opportunity to take their work home with you.
