Volunteering

We are grateful for the help of our wonderful volunteers!

As a small organisation, The Children's Hospital Charity greatly values the contribution of our volunteers. Their support helps to make a practical difference to our work, which in turn enhances the support we can offer the Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

The Children's Hospital Charity is currently working to expand its team of people who regularly give their time and skills. People volunteer for many reasons; perhaps to give something back to the hospital, or to gain valuable experience.

Why do we involve volunteers?

There are many reasons why we involve volunteers in what we do, but ultimately, volunteers add value to our work. They help to develop and support the hospital and help drive the charity's vision for the future.

If you wish to apply to become a volunteer for the charity, please fill in our volunteer application form, or for more information, contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator Suzanne Jenkin on 0114 2267864 or email: suzanne.jenkin@sch.nhs.uk

The Hospital

If you are interested in volunteering within the hospital itself, for work placements, or for anything to do with the patients themselves, please contact the Trust's Volunteer Co-ordinator Mumith Khan on 0114 2717225 or by emailing: volunteering@sch.nhs.uk.
