Volunteer
We love our volunteers!
Your time and skills can make a real difference to our work and a real difference to the hospital.
We are always looking to expand our team of volunteers and any time you can spare will be greatly appreciated. People volunteer for many reasons; perhaps to give something back to the hospital, or to gain valuable experience.
What they say
"I've met loads of lovely people, made new friends and had all sorts of fun. I always have such a good time when I volunteer, no matter what I'm doing, and come away with a sense that I've achieved something positive. I think it's important to get involved with your local community and the children's hospital is a really special part of Sheffield. Volunteering is flexible and very varied so can suit everyone." - Catherine Fathers
"I really enjoyed volunteering and I am full of admiration for the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff and the fundraisers themselves." - Tracey Beardsley
"We can contribute our own personal skills and attributes gained from many years of work and life experience but we've also learned new skills and realised that we have hidden talents! We get the chance to attend different events and be involved in things we wouldn't normally do such as Chatsworth Fair, football matches and golf events." - Julie and Dennis Jephson
